A house that had primarily been a summer vacation home became a year round retreat for a young family. The objective was to create a space that felt as warm and inviting on a cold winter day as it did on a lazy summer afternoon. The client’s love color, and their vibrant collection of art featuring rich vegetable dye colors (cobalt, beet, olive, turmeric, and coffee) was the inspiration behind the color palette and material selections.
